2013 gmc sierra 1500 wt service airbag light

My 2013 gmc sierra 1500 was displaying a service airbag light so I brought it to the shop and they told me it was because of the left front impact sensor so I replaced both of them and it didn't help now the light is intermittent some times it may come on and sometimes it doesn't I don't know what else to do the garage can't seem to tell me anything more

Time to get another garage.

 

Scan tool will tell you what the code is. If the code was for the left front sensor, and a new one didn't fix it, it more than likely has a wiring issue. Codes need to be checked again since any part of the system could be failing, too.

 

A cheap code reader will not be able to access airbag codes.
