white gold touch up paint

Hello, I own a 2014 silverado painted white gold, paint code  bc/ccu 800j . Have a small blister/spot on the side edge of my hood so I bought a ACdelco touch up kit that matches paint code. When I applied the paint, its plain white, some say its turns proper color after clear coat is applied but no luck there, it didn't change one bit as I suspected. So my question, has anyone who owns a truck with that color had any luck with a matching touch up paint> the one I used is genuine acdelco Part #19357784 , code 98u wa 800j. I purchased from Amazon, some reviews were positive many others with the same problem. Going to try dealer next but this paint kit is the right part number, as far as I can see.

Any store that sells paint like Sherman Williams or ppg can mix a batch for ya. Easy money.
