Hi

I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 Z71 double cab and needing new tires. The Cooper AT3 is what I'm going to purchase. My truck has P265/65/18 and going up to the 275/65/18. I'm pulling a 19 ft bass boat with a single axle, and it lowers my bumper 2" when hooked up. I have my second set of the AT3's on my 2005 Silverado and have done well for my needs.

I can't decide if I need the  AT3 4S  or AT3 LT since I'm towing a heaver boat. What would you suggest?

You don't need LT tires to tow a boat. You'd want LT tires if you were towing 8,000+ everyday for work and not a boat a dozen weekends in the summer. You're still not towing something for 98% of your driving and standard P rated tires will cost less and ride better.

I went with the AT3 4s, very happy with the tires.

They do well in wet weather, dry, and sand. Looks like we will be getting snow this winter, looking forward to seeing how they do.

Thanks that's what I'll do. Also they go good on snow and ice, I drove my 2005 Silverado last two winters and never missed a day of work when others couldn't get there.

I went with the 275/65/18 ATS 4S tire, truck drives like a different truck, a lot better. A big approvement over the Goodyear Fortitude.
