FACTORY FOG LIGHTS

Guys-just bought a new 2023 Elevation with factory fog lights. These things are practically USELESS! Can hardly see any difference off or on! Has anybody added an extra pair (maybe mounted them under the front  facia?)  and tied in with the original wiring going to the factory lights? Or is there any replacement bulbs or maybe housings to vastly improve what's there?

Are the plastic pieces removable circled in red? I would think Diode dynamics SS3 similar from another brand would fit there. I would bet DD has a kit for that area in the works.

 

Diode dynamics SSC1 might fit in the factory fogs location.

I replaced mine with a set from BajaDesigns. My fog lights are a bit different but here is the link for the Sierra's ones.

Looks like those are pre-refresh only. I dont know of a true "kit" as of yet for the refresh trucks. I would imagine they're in the works though.

Diode Dynamics top of the line replacement fog lights were a great upgrade for my 21 Silverado. Expensive, but worth it.

Look at LASFIT LED's.  I changed my fog light bulbs with their LED's and it helped tremendously

How did you change Fog Light bulbs when they are non serviceable assembly?

Wow!- that’s completely my bad. You are right. I’ve changed so many bulbs between my truck and my wife’s Tahoe that I got them mixed up. I changed her fog lights not mine. I apologize I got the two confused. Didn’t mean to mislead anyone
