I had an awful squeak coming from my brakes and went into the dealer. They wanted to do new brakes and rotors but pad life according to the wear indicator was 65% front and 80% back so I told them to kick rocks. It seemed like it was mostly the rear so I pulled the caliper off, I tore the wear sensor by accident.

Some cleaning and whatnot fixed the squeak but I haven't replaced the sensor yet. I disconnected the battery before starting the brake job to keep the parking brake from coming on. In the meantime I removed the broken part of the sensor and clipped the wires. I see the connection but can't figure out how to get it apart.

It seems like video of the actual process is incredibly scarce. Mine is a 2020 TB LT. Does anyone have a link so I can see how that clip is pulled apart?

Another 2020 TB LT here with squeaking rear brakes when cold and just starting out driving. After a little bit of use, they quiet right down.  This info would be handy to have just in case....

Mine was a constant squeal. Might've been some dirt or something between the pads and the rotor. Nothing noticable when I took them off but who knows.
