2010 rcsb Silverado 1500 WT 4x4 with LS trim.

Stock suspension with stock 265/70R17 tires.

It’s time to get all four replaced and I would like to increase tire size.

Can anybody with previous experience tell me for sure if 285/70R17 tires will fit with no rubbing issues?

Appears that the diameter will be increased by 1” and width by 0.8”.

TIA

Any reputable tire shop should be able to help you but GENERALLY you can go 1 size up without problems. Does the placard in the driver's door jamb offer an optional size?

I will check the placard. I never realized that an optional size was listed.

Thanks for the tip.

Likely gonna rub without a leveling kit.

275/70R17 is an option in the middle you could go with.

Tire placard doesn't list an optional size, not sure why someone would have mentioned that.

Because my 2004 S10 lists 2 sizes: 235/70/15 as stabdard and optional tire size of 235/75/15 that's why.
