Quadrasteer Tire Sizes

Hey, y'all.

I'm getting new skins this weekend and was wondering if any other 2wd Quad owners have up-sized their rubber ?? I've got 245/75-16's now, want to go to at least a 265/75-16 (on the stock forged rims). Worried about the rear clearence at full-cut...

On a similar note, 17's or 18's are on the list- anyone have a comment on those sizes ??

Thanks.

I honestly have no idea, but I bet this will be an interesting post b/c I don't recall this issue ever coming up before.

I post at one dedicated Quad site and three truck sites, have asked before and can not get an answer. I know I'm not the first, but I guess I might be the first to post an answer...

Hopefully I get a decent tire rep and he'll take the time to fit two or three tires to see what fits...

I'll let y'all know Monday.

Got some Revos today  . 265/75-16 E's, $670 otd with road hazard, decent price, whatchy'all think ?? I like 'em, much nicer than the factory ribs :wtf: !!

I started the truck on the lift and put it in gear and cut the wheels to check the clearance in back- shoot, 285's might fit :wtf: !!! Wish he would've had 'em in stock... Plenty of room for 265's.

I'm gonna turn the t-bars up a bit tomorrow to level it off. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Very nice! Those tires make a heck of a difference.

Thanks, Wingnut. The tires made a huge difference overall, but it kinda looked worse with the factory rake. After a couple turns of the t-bars, looks just right  . For now :flag: !!!!!

And nice tires !!! I like 'em. Much nicer ride than the stock Bridgestone ribs... Easy to make 'em howl in corners, tho  !!!!

Make sure you get it aligned now that you cranked the torsion bars. You wouldn't want to ruin those new tires! Looks good!

Yea, it's getting it this weekend coming.

The Revo's had the highest ratings across the board. Go to tirerack and do a comparision. I posted about them somewhere... They're great tires, worth the $$$ I paid....
