I thought that I would share an issue that I found when upgrading to a newer catch can. I installed an Elite Engineering catch can in 2017, and at the time, it came with hose clamps and not the OEM quick disconnect fittings. So when I removed the old hoses, I noticed they were rock-solid and brittle. The hose that comes from the output side of the catch into the engine had come off, and the other hose pulled off without any effort. So if you used hose clamps to secure the hoses onto the engine, check them.

The newer model that I bought is bigger than the previous one, and it came with the OEM quick disconnectors and black steel braided hoses.
