14 Silverado fan running when off

I changed my coolant temperature sensor and radiator fan still runs on high.

temp gage goes down to 160 and fan runs high.

any help would be great

It's possible you got a defective new sensor out of the box. Also you are supposed to unhook both battery cables for about 10 minutes to do a reset on the computer on the truck after you replace the sensor. Hope this info helps.

Could very well be a faulty thermostat.

I had the same issue and swapping the thermostat was the fix.
