Dashcam power suggestion - USB

All,

I have a dashcam in my truck but I don't want to run the USB power cable all throughout the truck and use the little stick-on cable connectors so I am looking for suggestions on how I can tap into the existing truck accessories that are powered and install a small USB cable I can connect the cam to... like maybe the rearview mirror power or something up toward the top of the windshield. Has anyone installed anything like this or have suggestions?

  Picked up the liners yesterday. Installed passenger side WITHOUT any modifications. All mounting holes lined up perfectly. Rain is interfering today with drivers side. Very Happy! Will add pics when finished

  I'll be buying another 3.0l when I replace my 2025 Sierra. I had an issue (engine siezed) but it was replaced and has been fine ever since. I'm spoiled with the excellent fuel economy to swap to a 6 2l or its replacement.

  There's also a LOT of data of log, as there are a whole bunch of computers in the truck. The more you log, the less often you can sample it (as the computers and busses are busy running the truck, logging gets whatever is left over.
