Sorry if I missed this topic - I think my AC drain is clogged/partially obstructed.  Sometimes I see fluid draining after running the AC, but often I don't.  No issues with water anywhere in the passenger side compartment, but I am getting the musty smell.  I removed the right front tire and searched, including removing a heat shield next to the exhaust and still nothing that was visible.  Does anyone know where this drain tube exits the underside of the vehicle, and/or is there any way I might be able to blow it out from the evaporator end?  Of course I'm sure that would involve taking the front half of the truck apart!  2020 Silverado 2500.  Thanks.

Behind and just below the right rear cylinder head in the firewall.   Above the transmission.  Rubber grommet with a diaphragm looking end in the center of it.

Perfect! Showed the pic to my kid who's a Mazda mechanic - he went outside, climbed up on the engine and found it instantly!  Thank you.

I have a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500hd.  Is it possible Chevy left this behind the insulating matt and reflective foil?  It is not visible anywhere in the indicated area on my truck.  I'm in Wisconsin and as soon as the truck warms up to the point the ice in the heater melts the windows instantly fog over on the inside.  As you can imagine it can get exciting on cold days.  I've had this happen before and it has always been mud wasps building in the drain tube.

2019 and up, Chevy or GM really f’ed these trucks up, 2018 1500 5.3 easy breezy 2019 1500 2.7 is a demon possessed model with nothing in places that earlier models had, every single thing on this POS is special order and impossible to just replace and move on. What a bright idea to have an already underpowered 4cyl drop to 2cyls. Here’s a thought maybe put 15 less sensors on this engine and focus more on stopping oil from pouring out of every possible bolt or washer, maybe put a transmission in a $50,000 truck that isn’t made of plastic. Or braid and cobweb every freaking hose to make it impossible to reach anything in engine bay. Less focus on overpaid children engineering and more practical design to get Chevy back to Americas truck. Because after this impulse purchase of this possessed truck, really considering a Toyota or I hate to say it ‘Ford’.
Just my thoughts after countless hours trying to figure out this beast. Now back to finding an evaporator drain that doesn’t seem to exist on this model.
