Infotainment screen issue

Anyone else having weird issues with their screen. I hardly ever use the Apple CarPlay screen but more often than not, that’s the screen that comes up at startup. Not every time but most of the time. Is this how it’s supposed to work if I have my apple phone in the truck?

I don't have an iPhone, but I know with Android Auto there are three options in the phone settings regarding how/when AA starts: Always, If used on the last drive, or default/set by car (which is what you want in this case). There may be something similar for CarPlay.
