Illuminated Front Door Sill Plates

Hello everyone!

 

Just picked up a 2023 Sierra 2500hd Black Diamond.  Loving it so far.  

 

Wondering if anyone has added the illuminated front door sill plates after purchase?  It's probably the only thing my truck didn't come with that I kind of want.  Just not sure how much of an install it is.  Are they plug and play?  Is there already a connector in there or do you have to run wires and/or splice?  Any feedback would be appreciated.
