Come to think of it, I think the Chevy is a 1/2 ton.  We just treat it like a 3/4 to 1 ton.

Geez @ those pics some of our trucks have just as high of mileage and they arent beat to #### like those are there is a thing called working a truck hard and a thing called running the truck over with a d5b

Proof that stuff lasts longer the more you use it.  But I do gotta say, you sure are beating them to ####.  Good job!

Both of these trucks are FARM TRUCKS!  They are driven by whoever needs to drive them.  Farm hands can be really rough on trucks.

 

The original bumper on the Chev. was pulled off trying to pull a 25000# cotton trailer full of tobacco out of a field (7140 wouldn't fit accross the tileing(sp?)).  BTW, what do you think of the weldsmanship on the new bumper?

 

I guess the easiest way to say it is this... Both trucks are TOOLS.  Ya know how sometimes when you don't have a hammer and you use a ratchet or wrench to beat something down???? Not really the right tool for the job, but saves a lot of time finding/retrieving the proper tool.
