standard bed floor flatness

Anyone else have dips or wavy floor in the standard bed? I noticed it seems to have a high hump in the middle above the axle between the wheel wells causing a dip at either end. Seems to be worse toward the cab. I checked a couple of trucks on the dealer lot they also seem to have dips or a wavy floor in similar spots. Just curious if anyone else noticed this? I'll try and get a some pictures to show what mine looks like.

After a month or so of use all my truck beds have dips and dents in them.

I have not noticed this in my 2021 long bed but have not put a straight edge on it either.

I noticed it after strapping down long boards the bow is pretty big causing more pressure on my fancy tailgate

I have a spray in liner and a barn stall mat in the bed. No idea if mine has anything like that. Do you enjoy your gm any less because of it?

I don't like the hump causing more of my load to be carried by my tailgate

Stop by the dealer and see what they say. Or get yourself a nice thick barn stall mat. No load you place on it will be too heavy.

My 2024 I just picked up has a hump as well. I assume it is there for some reason.
