2016 Silverado remote start/battery issue?

I recently bought a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Z71 with the factory remote start. Worked fine the first few days i had it, then i went to start it the other morning using the key fob and the truck lights flashed as usual but no crank or start, the weird thing is the truck had no power at all after that. I had to use the physical key to unlock the door, and when i tried to turn on accessory no power whatsoever. After popping the hood and playing with the battery connections, i was able to get power. The battery connections were tight, and there was no visible damage. Started the truck using the key and went to work, this morning i tried it again and same thing, lights flash, i hear a click, no start, then no power. Any ideas? Battery looks brand new, could this be a fuse? Electrical issue?

I would go to AutoZone or some other store that will check your battery for you. Usually they'll do it for free. Another thing to try is when this happens have someone help you turn the key and then just wiggle the cables to check it you have a bad cable. I should have asked this first but is there a check engine light on?

no check engine light, truck starts every time when i use the key, only does this after i try the remote start

Check the manufacture date on the battery. This sounds a LOT like what happened in my 2015 a couple of years back when it just straight up went dead. Then worked. Then went dead. Replaced the battery and never looked back.

 

The load tests don't always catch shorted cells in the battery that can "appear" fine and then suddenly result in basically no power.
