Hardwired Dashcam Inquiry

So something strange I noticed today about my hardwired dashcam in my 23 TB...  if you leave the truck with the key in hand and the truck still running the dashcam shuts off like it does when you turn the truck off, then will power back up once the key is back in the truck. I have the hardwired kit tapped into f26 on the passenger side fuse box with a micro3 tap. Had anyone else experienced this phenomenon? I have a rexing v1 but and using the standard hardwire kit not the smart kit which requires both a constant and acc tap.

Assuming you are referring to F26 on the passenger side, that fuse supports the USB ports and such which are tied to the infotainment system in some way (if you hold the mute button on the steering wheel for 30 seconds, it basically "reboots" the infotainment and your USB ports will shut down as well).

 

Does the radio / Infotainment power down during this scenario as well and then start back up when you get back near the truck with the key?
