Hey yall

I have a 1993 Gmc 1500 and when you turn the key the radio turns on and the lights but no crank and no start. I have replaced the battery, Starter, New ignition switch too but still nothing. I did notice the wiring harness that plugs into the ignition switch has been cut and has been reconnected with crimp fits so maybe it’s a lose connection with the ignition switch. When you turn the key the rod does push into the ignition switch so it’s not an issue there.

Any ideas of things to check or wiring I can check. Not sure if I can unplug the wiring harness going into ignition switch and test for power there to the starter.

Thanks

Try jumping the starter relay and see if it cranks. Could be the neutral or clutch switch
