Did some modding on my 2021. What yall think??

Paint: Had a local paint shop spray the engine cover along with the side covers

Engine cover: 2015-2019 Cadillac Escalade engine cover GM Part # 12669503

Engine Cover studs: GM Part # 11611691 (you will need to remove the 2 10mm bolts from ur existing cover and replace them with the 2 studs. This holds the cover in place.)

Engine cover Chevy emblem: All I did was use a heat gun to remove the caddy emblem on it and replace it with a Chevy center cap (found on eBay set of 4 was 20.00) used 3M tape to attach to cover.

This will work on both 5.3 and 6.2!

Any other question feel free to message me!!

White is going to be dirty as hell in the engine compartment! Looks good though. I'll have to add this to my "someday" mods list!

What holds the rear of the cover on? I looked at GM's piss poor drawings of the parts and I can't tell what the rear mounts to, the stock bolt heads or the same studs as the front.

I saw a step by step on another forum for doing this and thought it was a cool idea. I see why you went that color, though I agree with GETGONE, going to get dirty quick!

May have to do this for the side covers to match the red on my Whipple. I'm assuming those are pretty simple to take off, but I haven't looked.

It hooks into the loops on the existing manifold cover.

I dig it, I'm likely going to do this on my Elevation. Do you happen to remember, or could you measure the diameter of the center cap you used? I'm looking for a GMC cap to have them at the same time.
