Differential?????

Hi,

     I have a 2007 Vmax 6.0L 4x4 Silverado.  I need a new differential cover.  How do I identify my differential?  Most stores only carry the cover for an 8.5" ring gear which has 10 bolts.  How do I find what I need.  My cover has 14 bolts.  I've found similar looking covers but they do not have a fill plug?  Tks!

9.5" semi floating axle, 14 bolts.  Vortec Max and the later 6.2s used that axle.  

 

4.3 and 5.3 used the smaller 8.625" axle "10 bolt".
