2016 pulsing intermittent vibration

I have had this issue for quite a while thought I solved it but it's back!

I tried to track down a intermittent pulsing vibration felt in the steering wheel. After lots of tracking, rotating wheels, etc. I pin pointed it to the brake pads. It happened at highway speeds 60-65mph.

 

If you have this issue maintain your speed and lightly apply the brakes if it goes away it could be the same thing.

 

I disassembled the brake pads filed the end of the castings so the slide back and forth easy. Cleaned the slide pins and used brake grease. Cleaned the pistons with soap and water and a toothbrush.  All was good for months but now it's back!

 

I'm going to try new pads now and see if it goes away.

Are you using OEM brake pads or aftermarket ones?

Truck only has 50k kms they are original and have plenty of material.
