Hello everyone! Got an issue I can’t seem to find a solid answer for and I was hoping someone could give me some advice to point me in the right direction. To date, I haven’t had the time to physically try to diagnose anything, just been combing the forums for a potential answer to narrow down my process. I purchased my 2017 Sierra AT in early 2020 and less than a year later, I began having issues with my drivers side door lock only working intermittently. The issue lasted maybe 3-4 months and then, magically, it started working perfectly again. Then last year, I began having issues with the windshield wipers. I would turn them on (during rain or while cleaning the windshield) and when I would turn them off, I noticed that instead of fully resetting, they would reset and pop back up about a half inch. The next few times I would start the truck, the wipers would come on, once, and then turn off. That lasted about 3 months or so and hasn’t happened since. Now I’m back to door locks. About 3 months ago, my back passenger side door lock stopped working, lock or unlock. About a month ago, my front drivers side door lock started only working intermittently, then today, stopped working all together. It won’t auto lock when the truck is put into gear. Most of the feedback I’ve seen involves swapping the actuators out, which seems to only fix the issue about 50% of the time. When I was having the issue with the wipers, most found the solution by replacing the fuse block under the hood. Could all this potentially be tracked back to that fuse block? My issues seem much more electrical than mechanical. Any ideas?

I believe the Fuse Block replacement is for wipers that don't work at all.  There is a non replaceable relay in there.  I really don't think it will fix the "parking" issue.  My 2014 truck wipers started doing the same thing earlier this year.  My thinking is to replace the wiper motor itself.  I haven't tried this yet.  This the best guess I can come up with.  The switch works fine, the wipers arms and linkages are all still tight and they turn on and off every time.  A new motor assembly is usually under $100

I also have the same issue with my front pass door lock actuator.  I bought just the motor to replace inside the actuator but I haven't got around to installing it yet.  Looks like a lot of fun the get the actuator out.  The motors are about $30 a piece. https://www.gruvenparts.com/2014-gm-door-lock-actuator-motors/?revpage=2&fullSite=1

Hope this helps
