Predator v Westers...

I heard quite a bit that Westers tunes are supposed to be the best...buy my question is, how much of a benefit is there above the Predator. I know it'll probably give you more power, but exactly how much? The reason why I'm actually debating this is because the Predator at least comes with a scan tool in it, so I could check the things I've changed and see kinda what's going on. Whereas with the Westers, I'm assuming they program everything for you and send you on your way. My previous car was a 98 Vette and I used EFI Live a lot, plenty of diagnostic capabilities with that scan tool, so that's kinda why I'm leaning towards the Predator, if it's only a couple of hp different, why not...but if the difference between the Predator and the Westers tune is like 10+ or something, well then that makes a whole hell of a big difference. Thanks...

never had the preditor but I love my Wester's. alot of people on these sites have switched and are only using their diablo as a scan tool. With Wester's you get an awesome tune that can be upgraded later on. if you ever change vehicles you get a full credit from your previous purchase towards a new computer for your new car. diablo is useless when you get rid of the car it was installed on.

Tbryne motorsports has a group buy going down for the Wester's untill feb 20th, 20% off. You won't be disappointed

So with the Westers they just send you a PCM or ECM that has already been set up with their tune? Anybody know what the power difference would be between the Westers and Predator?

get a nelson performance tune. diablo sucks. :D

:shakehead:

Diablo doesn't know jack sh$t when it comes to customer service. I use their "Predator" with my Dmax and it always sets off codes. Nick and the boys at Diablo never reply to emails or voice mail. A-holes :nono:

You can't beat Nelson

Wester's will provide you with a custom program tha is made specifically for your truck. The Predator is pretty much the best hand held programmer out there. The Wester's tuning goes a few steps above that. They also provide you with free upgrades that won't give you any vehicle downtime. If you modify the truck in the future and need updated programming that will send you a new computer first. You can then send the other computer back after you've done the swap. Other advantages of the Wester's is -

30 day free trial, you don’t like it, theyll either modify it, or send it back and owe nothing!

Lifetime warranty (no cost or fees)

Lifetime updates for all future mods ($45 shipping and handling fee)

Lifetime full price paid credit toward your next custom tune for your next vehicle ($45 shipping and handling fee)

Hope this helps,

Tom
