CLOTH TO AT4 SEAT SWAP QUESTIONS!

I have a 2022 refresh sierra elevation with cloth bench seats. I found a smoking deal on a set of at4 seats from a 2020. I am in the middle of swapping them into my truck and found that everything works except the heated seats. The "service safety restraint" light was on as well. I am wondering if anyone else has done this and what the fix may be to remedy the situation.

you would need wiring diagrams for the 2020 and 2022 and check to see if the plugs are wired the same. it might be the 2020 seats are not compatible due the fact the 2022 has a different operating system

The electronics were updated to a different system in the refresh trucks. Global A to Global B or something like that. For them to function I'd say you'd have to have it programmed in the computer. Unfortunately that is something the dealer can't do.

Did you figure this out? I'm looking at doing something similar but using seats from a newer truck into my 2020.

Same situation I’ve got a 23’ elevation…picked up at seats last night for $500. Did you get the heated part figured out?
