Can’t find a tool to remove the nut on the banjo housing. According to my dealer it’s not available to the consumer so he says I have to bring it to the dealer to replace the rotors.  I’ve never heard of such a thing!  Any suggestions?

Thanks.

DT-52989 which is backordered but there's an aftermarket one - DT-52989 ProShear Nut Socket Tool Alternative

EDIT - As gemarsh added below, Amazon has some other alternates.

Hope you ordered new nuts as they are one time use.

I know the rear seal is a one time use according to the service manual. Didn't know the nut was.

Edited.  I was thinking of the single rear wheel trucks where they changed the design of the nut.  Disregard my "one time use" note that I have now removed from my original reply.

You have to remove the hub nut to remove the rotor?  Is that a 3500 DRW thing?

2500 rotor removal

Dually thing.  On these 2020-up the hub is bolted to the rotor.  You have to remove the hub and rotor assembly to then access the bolts to separate the rotor from the hub.  The prior generations so 01-19 trucks the wheel studs where what held the rotor to the hub so you had to pull the hub and then drive the studs out to separate the hub and rotor, replace the rotor and then flip it over and drive the studs back in to put it all back together.
