You know, with ALL the valve body problems, has there been a diagnosis of the problem after all this time? I haven`t heard much except, it`s bad and must be replaced. Any mechanics, engineers, etc. find out? Hmmm. Trash in them? If so, from where? Soft casting? Cheap solenoids? 🤔

I would expect that GM has/is doing failure analysis on the parts being returned but theres no way the public will ever know for sure whats going on.

This is being treated like a dirty secret by GM. No info. Zero. A Chevrolet dealer Service Manager that I know would not discuss this with me except to say that they are not having alot of problems with the valve bodies on the 10 speed transmissions. This issue and DFM cylinder deactivation collapsing lifters and destroying camshafts and whole engines is really making people question GMs commitment to quality and durability of its trucks.
