Recently Purchased a Used (6000Miles) 1500. I have searched high and low for an answer to no end most fuel gauge problems are on the old clusters this has the 12.3 Digital display. Basically, the Fuel level will go from Full to empty randomly is anyone else experiencing this or am i the sole owner of a dud? The dealer is perplexed, i have no clue what the problem could be, even the Chevy app that shows fluid levels reads full even though have 280 miles on the tank.

You could disconnect the negative cable on the battery for about 10 minutes and connect it back up, this will reboot the computer in the truck and see what happens. I have done this in the past and it fixed some issues.  Worth a try.

After they replaced the fuel module, and that didnt work they dropped the tank and replaced the sensor. that was the issues seems like an odd thing wrong on a new truck

What seems odder, given the symptoms you described, is that they didn't replace the fuel level sensor the first time.

Regardless, glad you were able to get it sorted out.
