Trailer Camera Options with no factory provisions

I do not have the trailer camera provision option on my SLE.  I would like to have rear/side view cameras when using my travel trailer. I believe it provides a level of safety while driving and also when backing into campsites.  

 

What would be my options? Are there connections to my 8" infotainment screen without tearing apart the dash to make the connections?

Has anyone added camera(s) and can comment on their quality, connections required, etc.?

Are Bluetooth back up cameras my only option?

Have you looked at Intellihaul 2.0 or 3.0 (year and trim level dependent I think)? However it does require some dash tear-apart I believe. I tore apart the dash on my prior Sierra and it was relatively easy if you take your time and watch a couple YT videos first. The other issue for you may be the price.... don't know your price ceiling.

As a note you need to have the upgraded head unit.  If you have chevy stock navigation, then you should be able to install Intellihaul 2.0 or 3.0

My oem head unit is a basic 8" screen....no nav

I can use a sand bag mount and lay on dash so as not to drill / glue anything onto dash and was thinking of mounting the camera adjacent or in place of the top center marker lamp at rear of trailer
