Trailering app defaults to "Guest trailer"

I have my 5th wheel trailer configured in the trailering app but most of the time (not always), it will default to the guest trailer so I have to remember to manually change it to my trailer for it to record my trip correctly.

 

This happens every time I hook up and often just stopping for gas or lunch break.

 

Is there a way to have it default to my trailer every time?

Not that I have found. It seems to default back to being told what trailer, in a couple of hours, it seems to be tied into the tow mode. When the tow mode resorts back to normal, the trailering app needs to be told what trailer is hooked up.

 

Now, if'n I hookup to a trailer and before moving, the app will have the last used trailer highlighted to tap on. Could be months since the last time truck was hooked up to a trailer with a pigtail.

 

These are first gen T1's.

Mine seems to retain the tow/haul mode at fuel stops but not the trailer.
