OEM stuff is pretty pricey, I think I might be going the Dynamic Friction route, it's 4 rotors, 4 sets of brake pads, brake pad wear sensor for $368 @ https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=16259809&cc=3451396&pt=13824&jsn=680 I just never heard of the brand so i'm a little skeptical. Do you think I need to replace the rotors if they have less than 35K miles on them?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but it bothers me that people get a performance vehicle or in this case a vehicle with an optional OEM performance brake package and then want to absolutely cheap out on a safety item to save a buck.
arkenzo Posted April 9, 2025 Author Posted April 9, 2025 How much do you think someone should spend to be on the safe side of things? Aftermarket is going to be cheaper than OEM, i'm not replacing the calipers, just the brake pads and possibly rotors.

Uh...not $400 for 4 corner brake parts from an unknown brand with unknown quality... $80,000, 6000lbs SUV with factory big brake kit and you want a $400 all around brake kit... Brother, you’re judging me but not offering any solutions. As long as I pay an an exuberant amount of money for an inferior product, then it’s ok? Give me a solution to my question or go away, you’ve derailed this topic enough already.

OEM or from Brembo. Or, shop the ACDelco line or Raybestos line and see if they offer replacements. Just don't make another thread complaining about your $400 4 corner brakes and looking for alternatives. Edited April 9, 2025 by newdude

Bruin19 Posted April 10, 2025 Posted April 10, 2025 Bendix FleetMetlock rotors and pads. Made in USA. I can confirm Bendix semi metallic pads stop very well. 1
