Brian - I have an Undercover Armor Flex that has now just developed the same split on the side seal at the hinge point. I just talked to RealTruck/Under Cover and they have a side seal replacement kit that they sell for $26. Mine is being covered under the 5-year warranty. Not sure if it is the same seal specifics as yours, but worth a call to them again to try and see if fits yours.

I was aware that they have the side seal. I need both the side seals and now two of the folding hinges. I've done a black duct tape temporary fix until I can buy a new cover. I may go with a shell as I'm finding the covers just don't give me enough room underneath for what I do.

I’m dealing with the same problem. They didn’t respond to my emails either so I called and got the same bs “liability” excuse. It would be SO simple to slip a new rubber hinge in there and no special tools or skills needed. If they think a specific adhesive or lubricant (make up your mind, do you want it to move or not?) is required how hard would it be to include a small tube with instructions?  I’m actually a bit offended they expect us to be so stupid we can’t install a simple hinge. Liability on the panel flying off?  The latches hold them down, currently that’s the only thing holding mine on aside from the duct tape. People are constantly buying and self installing parts for their vehicles themselves. Imagine if everyone selling aftermarket accessories felt the same as Real Truck. I won’t ever buy another accessory from this company and I tell my friends to stay away from them. Rant over.

I repaired my BaKflip MX4 hinge. I found a broken Tonneau on Facebook . A guy sold it for $40. I was able to remove the hinge on that. One of the hinge is also tripped but I still have 3 hinges left and I used the hinge closest to the  cab. It took me 2 minutes to remove the hinge. It was not attached with any glue. It simply slides out. Undoing the seal on the side is the hardest part and it just slides back in. I don’t understand the liability excuse. There is no reason why they cannot replace the hinge. Now it’s perfect again. I was able to replace the latch as well using the part on the broken one. I got lucky!!!!
