OK, I know there are only a handful on here that are hockey fans...but last night Philly and Ottawa set an NHL record for penatly minutes in one game, at 419 or something like that...Philly was pissed because last time they played each other one of Ottawa's players gave one of their guys a nice 2 handed slash to the back of the head. The extremely entertaining file, is about 8 megs, inside a zipped file. It happened in the last 3 minutes of the game. Apparently it took 90 minutes after the game was over for the refs to sort out all the penaties.......for those of you that don't know hockey very well.....you know it's a good game, when the goalies fight.

Wow. All in the last three minutes! Ever seen someone win a hockey fight from the bottom? I have. And it was a goaly!

Dammit! Didn't the Av's and Wings have the previous record for most penalty minutes? Looks like they'll have to try to beat that the next time they meet. lol. Too bad Roy retired because I don't think their current goalie is a scrapper.

Yeah, I looked back and it was Minnesota/Boston for the previous record in the early 80's.

Det./Av's racked up a high number as well in the late 90's too.

Yeah I was watching that game last night on center ice. He's been suspended indefinatly. I really wanted to see Worrell go after somebody, he needs to get his goon game back.

Just read on MSNBC that Moore actually broke his neck when he fell......now the cops are gonna get involved....looks like Bertuzzi won't be playing any time soon

uhhhh yeah.........I'm a fan of one of those "Rebuilding" teams.....The caps.....I'm just a glutton for punishment.....on a lighter note, atleast they've gotten rid of so many players, I'll always have someone to root for in the playoffs....5 more years we'll be on top again.
