If your instrument cluster or infotainment screen has ever gone completely black on a 2022–2026 Silverado or Sierra, you’re not alone.

Some trucks experience a blank display, flickering screen, or a system that appears to reboot and then recover. GM has issued updated diagnostic guidance outlining what technicians are instructed to check before replacing parts, including software updates, LVDS cable connections, and radio module communication.
