New here,

Need a little help trying to figure out a slight chirp when my truck is cold.

When I first start the truck, it has a slight chirp. And when I let the truck warm up it seems to get a little lighter. And when I start driving, after a few minutes it goes away totally.

I do not hear any chirping at all as long as the truck seams to still be warm. Once it sits and cools down totally. It will do the same thing all over again.

I do not think it is the valves or lifters. Possibly an exhaust issue? Or some sort of sensor possibly?

Please help.

Much appreciated in advance.

Check for broken bolts holding the exhaust manifolds to the heads, common problem. Dorman makes a repair piece if you find you have broken 1s  and don't want to do the surgery to replace them

Much appreciated. I will look into that.
