Tranmission stays in Low

I have no display of  transmission  status on Dash  ( no P,R,R D or L) a code has been set  as i now  have  a Check engine light,  Als  "SERVICE STABIL TRAC " is  displayed on  the Info  screen. The  truck drives but  fro  engine RPM it  seems  to be in LOW gear

 Any Ideas ???

get a good code reader, and find out what problems the truck has noticed by reading codes.

cheap ones can only get basic engine codes, you may want to get one that can get codes from all the computers in your truck.
