I don't know....When are you dropping it off at my place?

Seriously, if I were in the market for it. The SRX would be one of the ones at the top of the list.

I took a test drive in a V6 SRX and seriously considered one when I bought my CTS last fall. My short list of negatives on the SRX:

- The V6 is adequate, but the Northstar would be better. However, the $10K price difference is a killer.

- The 3rd seat is basically useless.

- The distance between the outside edge of the vehicle and the outside edge of the front seat is about 12". This was too large for my wife to negotiate when transferring from a wheelchair and I imagine some seniors may have a problem with this.

- I didn't care for the look of the rear end.

This is a good alternative to an SUV. Aside from the side-to-seat distance, it is also an excellent vehicle for empty nesters and active retirees. I wish the SRX was available when I advised my dad to get a minivan a couple years ago to replace his hard-to-enter-and-exit LeSabre. I'm going to suggest that my in-laws consider the SRX when they are ready to trade in their Mercury Villager. I'll try to convince my sister to trade their troublesome Windstar on one. However, her husband is a Ford retiree...
