Switching from Auto to Manual

i am looking to make my S-10 a maunal instead of an auto. I am also going to put a 350 in it. what do u people think would be the best transmission to use

 

i want a 4 speed

Good luck with your change. You have a lot of modification to do. As far as a tranny, I would go with a Borg Warner t-10 or super t-10. T-10's are the strongest factory made trannies (NASCAR uses them). Check a transmission shop, if they don't have them they can usually find them.
