Changeing Belts

Hello,

 

I was wondering if there is any special tricks or anything I should be aware of when changeing the belts on my 01 rado? It looks pretty tight down there and getting to the A/C belt doesn't really look like a lot of fun.

changing the belt is a pretty easy job on the nbs trucks. I had never done a belt change before, and it took me less than an hour to do both the ac and serp belts, and a new serpentine tensioner. and i really took my time with it.

 

i had better luck with the ac belt from underneath. i had a hard time getting at it from above.

on the serp belt, when you are putting the new belt on, save the smooth pulley till last. that way it will slide right on!

Like Ness says, do it from underneath the truck. Try some ramps if it won't be too high.
