One more lighting Questionq

AS I mentioned in another post, I converted my truck into a Denali (looks wise) and got some new projector lights. They don't come withe the wiring harness extender that goes from the truck male plug to the light blub female housing. I went to the dealer to order a spare set of these wiring harnesses the other day and needless to say the Morons wasted an hour of my time with things like:

Your Truck is not a Denali so how do we know how to look up this part...

There is no such truck as a Sierra Denali or a C3...

We are not allowed to open up lot trucks and look at individual parts...

I finally took my sales person out to my truck and then to an 04 Yukon Denali and showed him the harness. My harness is all weathered so you can't read the tag, but it says the following (from the brand new 04 on the lot):

01 12 04

210970A

10 152

None of these are GM part numbers, but I am hoping someone on here can help me get a couple of these wiring harnesses either through GM or AC Delco assuming they do the harnesses themselves.

Try the link to the left for PartsZoneOnline and look up the parts under your year and model truck in the GM Online Catalog. They will be listed under FRONT LAMPS in the collision section. It pays to spend hours just looking around on this site. Lots of useful info. :flag:

Those are the lights I have now...I wish posting pics was easier so you could see what I mean. The light harness you are worried about is the same one I am looking for, but not because it was impossilbe to get off the OEM Denali lights, but b/c I got two sets of the Halo lights (one Black and one Clear) and rather than go through the rigamarole of switching everything I want to set it up with quick disconnects.

If you take a 5/32 socket you can loosen the two bolts that hold your OEM Denali light assembly together and easily take out the harness. When I remounted the harness on the black pair of Angel Eyes Projector lights I just routed it so it would come out easily vs. the absolutely retarded way GM did it on the OEMs.

I hope this helps ya.
