First Gear Slippage

Maybe it's just me, but for the last few weeks it seems like my tranny wants to stay in first gear a lot longer than normal. You know when you start your truck in cold weather and it purposely holds each gear to get the motor warmed up faster? Well, it feels like it's doing this, just not quite as pronounced, if that makes any sense, but just in first gear. The weather here is at least 70-75 degrees in the morning when I go to start it.

Am I paranoid? Or just noticing something I shouldn't?

I have a 2001 Z71 with the 5.3 and 29.5k miles and I've towed with it like 4 times.

Thanks guys
