Well tonight sucked

For starters, my brother went out for his heat race, and decided he was going to be a hot sh*t and try to pass his buddy Kevin, coincidentally screwing both their cars up. Jason's in the B main, running 3rd, passes a guy for second, just flies by Santos (in 2nd) with like 3 laps to go. Final lap, going into turn 3, smoke's coming out from the headers, then you hear a weird sound coming from his engine, then POOF huge cloud of smoke. Threw a rod. So there's a good 5-6k just to get a deent engine running within a two-three week per.

 

My dad was running 7th in the main, then lost a nut for the steering and was screwed.

 

THEN on the way home, we were stranded for about an hr thinking we lost the altenator. Finally we realized that the battery cables weren;t connected good (d**n GM rybber conector things), so tonight wasn't our night

Yup. We were just sittin there in the pits, watched him go in, and then it was like well isn't that peachy???

 

THEN during the main, our buddy Jim Perry blew his engine, worse than ours, threw 3 rods al together. what a pain in the ***
