Three penalized for postrace fight

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- NASCAR penalized driver Brad Teague and two other men Tuesday for fighting on pit road after the Busch series race May 29 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

 

Teague and Jeffrey Smith, motor coach driver for Kevin Harvick, were fined $2,500 apiece and placed on probation until Dec. 31. James Caldwell, a public relations representative for Harvick, was suspended until July 21, fined $2,500 and placed on probation until the end of the year.

I read that too. I can't find any information on what happened.

From what I understand, Harvick gave Teague the finger during the race, and went to confront Harvick about it. Teague ran into the 2 members of Harvicks team before he got to Harvick, and there was scuffle.
