Before pics. I changed my brakes a few weeks ago and they sandblasted the rotors. Looked good until moisture hit them. The pic speaks for itself. Looked horrible

Using Duplicolors caliper paint. Comes in red yellow black and silver. They didnt have black so I went with silver. Glad I did looks real nice. Didnt take long to do either

Oh yea heads up I paid $14.99 for the kit at meiers. Online it lists for $34.99

Very nice!! I was thinking of leaving the rotor hast the factory silver/grey and painting the calipers red as a contrast to the silver wheels and black paint.

Looks good, Ryan.

I hope this isn't too stupid a question, but is there any reason not to paint the center of the hub?

Doing the hub center, rotor, and caliper all different colors could look wild.

I didnt paint that because you cant see it with the tire on. I only painted the rusty parts that I could see with the tire/rim on

Another reason not to paint the center is that if it's an uneven layer of paint, it may alter the way the wheel sits on the hub slightly, but enough to cause a vibe or other problem. Just a thought. I've seen this with excessively rusted rubs/drums.

why paint at all, just get some new ones.

yea thats smart. :) at $100-150 each for a rear rotor. Its perfectly fine except for some surface rust. Fixed by spending $14.99 plus tax. That makes more sense then buying new and having the same thing happen :banghead:
