BBK throttle body install on 2001 6.0L

Hey there friends,

I just received my BBK throttle body from TByrne today. I removed the old TB, swapped all the sensors over and when I went to install the new TB on the intake, the studs were too short. Then I realized... these studs look like they're molded into the plastic manifold! Does anyone know if you can remove these studs? The BBK package included longer bolts but bolts aren't any good if the original studs are molded into the intake manifold.

It looks like they'll snap off or crack the plastic manifold before unscrewing so that's why I wanted to ask here before applying too much pressure!

Anyone know?

Thanks in advance!

I figured it out... yes they do unscrew, very easily. Sorry for the fire drill, just worried about crankin on plastic intake manifolds!

As an update... I installed the BBK Performance 80mm throttle body and wow is it killer. The only problem is that d@mn thing sounds like a jet at idle. I mean it sucks some serious air and makes a horrible whistle. I would have to say it's too loud but once you drive off it quiets down.
