'raced a porsche carrera gt today

I was on a kinda feild trip at work today. There were 4 of us and we were driving around to various Halfords stores around London to get ideas and sales figures and such. The guy driving us has a ford mondeo with a 2.5L v6 cosworth motor. This little car is pretty dang fast for a 2.5L 4 people and the a/c running, frequently hitting 110mph (english freeway driving) and still pulling hard. Anyway at one point we are coming out of a roundabout and notice a yellow porsche carrera gt waiting to enter roundabout. He start coming up behind us and I say "RACE HIM!!!" We drop a gear and floor it and the carrera gt come screaming past us like no other!!!!!!! Its a 5.7L v10 hand it had a really unique exhaust note, really hi pitched refined sound. The guy looked at us as he passed by and had a cigerate hangin out of his mouth with a "yea right, piss off" look on his face. It was brilliant!!!

I guess Contour owners like to race against things they know they can't beat. When my dad had his 2.5L Contour he decided to take on a GTO...just a little quick race to the speed limit type deal. Don't know why. The Contour could hand most four door sedans their ass though.
