Only snag of this weekends trip.

Im surprised it lasted 41k miles. At least it is on the passenger side.

That sucks.

My wife's '02 went just over 50k before getting it's first one and now at 61k+ she has 2 that are somewhat horizontal.I'm going to replace the windshield if it gets much worse but she's ok for now.

Yea it does suck, but I am just surprised it lasted so long. The 94 got its first chip literally on the way home from the dealer. but then again a lot of roads around here have been paved in the last 10 years.

That does suck. Just tap on it with a hammer until it cracks the window and have insurance pay for it. BTW: I have never done that, because that would be fraud.

Not sure if there are places like we have here in MN, but I'd look into places like Auto Glass Specialists or places that do "seamless chip removal" or something like that. They fill in the chip or crack so that it is virtually undetectable. It's like paintless dent removal for the windshield.

Mine cracked last winter with only 4000 on the odometer. Erie insurance will replace the windshield at my request, I think the deductible is $50.

There is a windshield repair place at our local carwash that I would trust, I am going to check them out.

Here in Fl, insurance has to repace it with no deductible, but not unless it really needs it.
