finally got her working

ok i finally got this thing working like i want it to. i still need to make some brackets for the hoses under the truck. and i am going to run another rubber line for the feed maybe. first off is the fuel cell-summit-sum 290122. it is a JAZ fuel cell with foam in it. one 6an return-one 6an vent-two 8an outlets. or #6 and #8 jic will work. i mounted the tank with 1/8X1" aluminum straps from lowes hardware.i was told to mount it up so the pump will be inline with the sump.i capped off one of the outlets as i did not need it.

the regulater. i bought the summit kit since that is what i thought would be the best. i think that it can be done cheaper and maybe better. i tyhink a holly blue pump and reg will work. the kit did come with the filter and all. the reg was a dead head style reg. it did not dump back to tank. so when i pressured it up it would climb to 15 psi and bog some. so i had to get a barry grant bypass reg. there are a lot of others out there. nos and aeromotive make nice ones also. i bought mine from a local speed shop.

the rest is the kit from summit. filter and pump.i put a relay on the solenoids and heater in the back. i am getting a fitting soon that will allow me to put in a switch for the fuel. it will shut everything down if it drops below 5 psi.
