Bilstein or Edelbrock Shocks?

Guys, I need to buy new shocks for my '92 1500 4x4. What shocks would you recommend, the Bilsteins or Edelbrock Perfomer IAS? The Edelbrocks cost a little more than the Bilsteins. Is the cost justified? Thanks.

I have had both shocks, they are both better than the stock shocks, I personally think the Edelbrock's gave a better ride.

I've run both shocks and am pretty fond of both brands. I had a 97 Chev 1500 4x4 and ran the Bilsteins then the Edelbrocks. Edge to the Bilsteins, just a little. Had a 98 Chev Astro AWD, the Edelbrocks were great. On my 2003 Chevy 2500HD 4x4 I just put on the Bilsteins and a Hellwig rear sway bar. Now that is the combination to run. You won't be sorry with either but for the 2500 I'd go with the Bilsteins.

I have 30k on my Edelbrock's with no problems at all. Would definately buy again.
