Help! How do I get my S10 Blazer's window up?

Passenger rear window motor went out and the window is down. About the rain and I can't budge it. Took off the door panel but can't even pry it up. How do I do it? The motor is riveted onto the door!

Unfortunately with the window in that position, if you can't reach the bolts that hold the window to the regulator, then you'll have to remove the regulator assembly.

 

Once the regulator is unriveted from the door the whole assembly can move up and down. At that point get some good tape and unbolt the glass from the regulator and hold the window up with the tape until you get the new motor.

 

One quick thing, did you try rapping on the window motor while pressing the up control? Some times this will "wake up" a tired motor (at least for that one time you really need it.)

I just went outside and pounded on it. Nothing. Pounded more in all different spots. Nothing. Whacked it super hard and BAM it rolled up!!!!
