Avalanche side step??

Anyone know how much the side step that come from the factory are at the dealer? I want to add some to my Aval and well as mud flaps. I know this was a option but when I got my truck they did not have these on. Where is the best place to buy these? Anyone have part #'s

I got my Avalanche-plastic-body-cladding-matching mudflags mail order from gmpartsdirect.com for $50 + shipping. I got the bugflector at the same time--it was $45. So all in all, I spent about $120.

I'm a little confused about the sidesteps. I think it's part number 12497718 for $395. There are also a set of lefthand/righthand steps with BVE option that run $167 a side. What is the BVE option?

It looks like gmpartsdirect.com now has a list of Avalanche part numbers so we don't have to pass around the same text list all the time. Go to http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/accessories/v...s/ava-parts.htm and you can look up everything you need.

Finally, I thought BigBlkAvalanche took his factory steps off and had them up for sale. Don't know if he sold them yet, but if not, you might be able to deal...

Big Blk avalanche still had em for sale a few weeks back from the post i saw. but i installed them on mine peice of cake to put them on and they look good too. and the mudlfaps rock love the way they lok. in the instructions i had they claimed could not be used with side steps but they fit fine on mine so anyhow enjoy...
